The Lusine Zakaryan House Museum had it's grand opening in June 2019, in hopes of educating the public about one of the Armenian Greats. Lusine (1937-1992) performed internationally, and was the soprano soloist of the Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin. She has won awards for "Honorary Artist" and "People's Artist" of the Republic of Armenia by the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic Supreme Board.
The Lusine Zakaryan Foundation aims to hold musical events held in her name, and provide scholarships to young Armenian children with outstanding musical talent.
The Lusine Zakaryan House Museum & Foundation will preserve the legacy of "Armenia's Nightingale."
